My husband Derek and I began our journey in purebred dogs with a Great Dane named, Zeus, in 2005

Our original master plan had been to have a whole “litter” of children but things are not always as simple as one might think. After years of trying everything possible I told Derek, “I WANT A DOG.” Initially I looked at labs and had planned to purchase one as a pet and performance competitor… I wanted to show in obedience. Neither Derek or I had ever shown a dog at all but it I thought it would fun way to bond with the dog and would keep me busy

In the midst of looking at a number of litters of lab pups I came upon a litter of Dane pups. Derek went with me to look at the pups and fell in love. We brought Zeus (Ch. Arbor Hills 4 the Love of Zeus, CGC) home a few days later and, as they say, the rest is history.
